TORCH Volunteer Opportunities

You have the opportunity to acquaint and familiarize participants to careers in communications (advertising, film, interactive, journalism, music, radio and television) through hosting on on-site visit. Most visits include a company tour and a meeting with several employees who relate their responsibilities to participants via a short talk and question and answer session.

Throughout the TORCH program, participants gain hands-on experience in many aspects of the communications field through group projects that model themselves on actual industry functions. Share your expertise in advertising, film, interactive media, journalism, music, radio or television with TORCH participants as a seminar facilitator.

In an effort to raise needed funds to sustain the program, TORCH plans several events each year. Volunteers are needed in the planning stages and at the events themselves.
